An independent studio of two

We make games that glow in the dark

Two Wicks is a small family studio. We make point-and-click adventures full of dark humour and cosy dread, and one strange space game about a machine that thinks in threes.

Why two wicks

Two Wicks started at game jams. For a while it was one person, one weekend and one deadline at a time: a platformer, a rhythm game, a couple of puzzles, a strange little adventure.

Then one jam brought a second person, and the next one we entered together, one of us making the game run and the other drawing it. Confluence came first. Then Devila Satura, a dinner party with the Devil at the head of the table. Then WitchHunter.com. Three jams, three games, and a growing feeling that a weekend was too short for the games we wanted to make.

So we set out to make the games we actually dream about. Somewhere along the way we also got married. Now it's the two of us, one small studio, and a table we can finally set properly.

Two wicks means the two of us. One candle lights very little. Two give you a room, a table, and shadows that might turn out to be someone else.
